PERSONNEL

The key feature in a successful operation is the personnel involved. Matatec’s management serve to direct operations after having received instructions/work scope parameters from the client. Management oversee the project, being effective by making decisions to the benefit of the work scope, this in turn being communicated to site engineers.

Site engineers are mature in their approach, and experienced in the handling of multi-trade projects, due to being skilled tradesmen themselves, supervision of the work force is undertaken with quality, safety and efficiency paramount in their intentions.

Trades personnel are selected for respective projects on their ability to comply with the skills required to conduct pending work scope. Matatec have a pool of some 500 tradesmen made up of steelworkers, welders, engine fitters, fitters, plumbers, shotblasters, painters, joiners and electricians. Being time served and experienced at working at sea for short or long terms Matatec are very confident that any work conducted by our personnel will be of the highest quality and comply with classification standards.
